Logitech 984-000006 Pure-fi Black Anywhere Speakers For Ipod

I got these lil speakers several months ago and I must say, I’m very impressed.  First off, if your looking for a speakers that will wake your neighbors or piss people off, these aren’t them.  Although they get very loud your not going to hear them blaring away over say…the sound of a vaccum.  However they do get loud enough to piss people off in say… your house ;-)

None the less, that doesnt take away from these little bad boys and I like them very much as they do get loud, just not THAT loud, if you catch my drift.  They are super sleek and really nice to look at and dont take up too much room.  Infact, they’re super small!  They are extremely portable and have these two slide in kick stands on the back so its easy to fold up on the go or just as easy to fold them out and sit this down pretty much anywhere.

In the picture to the right you can actually get a glimpse with the wire mesh speaker covers off to get an actual look at the bass these speakers provide, as you can see, it does pack quite a punch.  I just didn’t want you thinking they get SUPER loud but for the most part if your looking for good quality extreme clarity sound these are a great buy.  Its just kind of hard to express in words that they get loud but not LOUD~! :P

Whenever I’m cleaning up around the house I just pop in my Ipod Touch (which by the way it fits, it doesnt list that in the specs as the Touch was released a bit  after these speakers.) Select a playlist/album and put it in the room of choice.  So my chores RAWK! Literally.  It comes with a nice sleek remote control as well, and not to mention every single ipod docking station add-on you can think of, except ofcourse the Touch but that just fits right in without a docking plastic add-on.

Its made like the PS3 if you’ve seen one of those up close then you know what I’m talking about.  I’m talking about that sleek “I ATTRACT DUST!” black plastic.  Dont get me wrong, it may attract dust, but just like the PS3 I think its worth it, cause I dont mind wiping it down every week or so to have that shimmering look of elegance.

One of the other bonuses of this gadget is that its rechargable through your normal electric outlet ac adapter(U.S.A That is.) and surprisingly enough once you unplug it it lasts forever! Seriously, I must’ve logged over 12 hours on that thing without having to charge it until the first time that I did.  It even claims 10 hours so its not like a hit and miss here. All that and a nice protective carrying case :)

It retails for like 129.99 and its currently on sale at tigerdirect for 119.99 HERE! but when I bought mine from tigerdirect it was 79.99.  So I’d keep an eye out on the sales if you want a small system that puts out some great clarity.  They do actually sale some upgraded models and downgraded for that matter so there are plenty to choose from in your price range.

Above is a picture of the speakers with all of its accessories included in the box.  The case, remote and all the docking stations and the ac adapter which is fold up one with a cool cord wrapping feature instead of those crappy ones that get all tangled up over time.

10,000 3D Movie Screens Are On Their Way!

It has been reported that the United States is set to have 10,000 more 3D movie screens implemented/installed nationwide in the next 3 years.  It seems as if the 3D movie demand is back!  It will cost 700 million for this conversion process but with movies like Hannah Montana raking in 30 Million already it is seeming all the more logical.  That, and alot of theaters are needing some special to attract movie goers as the rates have declined over the years.  Really? Ha, not a big surprise what with HD TV’s and Blu-ray available for in-home movie watching.

Now who excactly is manning this ship? Well, four huge movie studios actually struck a deal to support this with Intergrated Technologies, a tech firm that mainly focuses on digital upgrades for theaters.  Disney, Fox, Paramount and Universal are the ones who have jumped on board this bandwagon as they speculate competion of this project by 2011.

As of right now there are only about 1,000 screens that can support 3D movies and this will largely bring that number up x10!  Each screen costing about 75,000.  So here’s the future with Disney movies in 3d! :)  Or some pixar! :)

For those that own DLP 3D ready tv’s and would like to start taking advantage of this, you can buy the software and glasses HERE!  To read a more indepth view about this technology or want to know what Tv’s suppoort this and what movies are already out their and readily able to buy then please visit our insiders website produced by Mr. Andrew Woods.  HERE!

Apple Mac Book Air

Oh yes, the much talked about, Mac Book Air.  Many have wondered when I would comment on this thin counterpart of the “Pro” and today is that day.  So before we speak numbers and specs that would give Einstein a hard on in his grave, lets talk about the oh so odd but widely reported CRAZY happenings of the MacBook Air.

Just as strange as an Einstein analogy dealing with computer specs, are these following news events that have occurred recently due to this Super thin 3 pound, folder size, future computer.

It was recently reported that a passenger missed his flight because TSA would not believe that this was a lap top.  They couldnt fathim the idea of a computer with no disc drive.  It took a while of convincing, as multiple airport employees and officials lined up in the masses to inspect this “OMG” lap top.  Thanks be to the other patrons who sweared it was a lap top that he was finally allowed to pass, but only to miss his flight.

Now, we have a review reporter for I believe an NY newspaper that claims his wife must’ve thrown it out in the trash as it may have got shuffled inbetween some magazines.  Heh, or maybe he just couldnt part with it, never the less, a word to the wise, if its truly that small (1.08 inch thick!) you might want to be careful where you place it.

The Mac Book Air next to a CD case!

The lightest lap top ever, thinnest lap top ever, and you could say lacking the most features ever.  However, if your looking to make a statement, this would be it.  You could always have external hardrives for home purposes and multi card readers, multi usb port connectors etc.  So I guess its all in the eye of the beholder.  Small it may be, but the price tag still weighs in at a nice $1800 minimum.

Packed with an Intel Core 2 Duo, processing speed at 1.6 GHz with installed memory of 2 GB with memory technology of DDR II SDRAM, cache size 4 MB.  Hard drive 80 GB with a display screen size of 13.3 in with a graphics processor of Intel GMA X3100 with a maximum output resolution of 1280×800 pixels, operating off of Apple MacOS X 10.5, whilst bluetooth compatible, and packing a 5 hour battery life the MacBook Air still remains a marvel to see.

A cool little pic of a gold Mac Book Air.

PS3 Integrated Lightbar! Cool Little Gadget Gizmo!

The darklite Integrated lightbar is a nifty little gadget to add to  your PS3 for a nice lighting effect that should set the gaming mood in your innner dungeon, errrr room.

Or, it may just be another reason you go completely blind by the age of 40.  Never the less, if your like Kanye West and its “Flashing … Lights” you so desire then this little bad ”Flashin” momma will solve your problems!

Pros :  Easy to Mount and uber cool for as little as $28 bucks!

Cons:  The lights are not interactive, which would be cool if it were synced with like Bass in the games. (like a dualshock) It seems that it mounts in the back, which could be good as to not flash right in your eyes, so I guess this only sets the “mood” when you have the lights off (or its dim) as the flashes come from all around your PS3 while gaming or watching a movie.

Never the less, it can be had at Overstock.com with a direct link HERE!
