Blu-Ray Region Code Bypass For PS3 Discovered!
Looks like a certain brit has discovered a bypass in which he can play region coded A blu-rays in his PS3. However, after reading such information on the thread it looks more like its only working with New Line releases which we believe dont go into too much trouble of locking these very well. If you view the provided link you can read the discussion yourself as it also includes pictures. It has seemed to work on “Shoot Em’ Up” , “Mr. Woodcock” and a couple others.
Whether this trick would work on U.S. PS3’s with european releases is unknown, as mostly only New Line worked for the brits. So here’s to hoping eh?
Also, there’s no telling that if this will get fixed in the next PS3 firmware update.
