The GPS Era Is Upon Us!
Just as we all have cell phones in this day and age, mark my words, we will all have GPS devices in our cars in the near future. It will become another norm. in society as its way too useful not to be. Especially with new cars, I see more of them having in dash GPS’s and will eventually in some point in time take over the market damn near completely, leaving the plug-and-play cig lighter devices merely for low end cars that come without any bells or whistles.
It wont be long before the kids are saying, “You mean you used to use a map!?” and the prices of these are going to continuously drop over the years, but with the only thing they can sell you is updates on roads I really dont see a reoccuring income/revenue they bring in if there is no monthly fee. All the more reason these prices will descend until everyone has one.
So many companies can benefit from these its almost crazy just thinking about it. Pizza delivery drivers? Yeah that would definitely speed things up! Fed Ex, DHL, UPS! The possibilities are endless! This would definitely effect a company in a major way, talk about time efficiency!!! That washer and dryer getting delivered…. ON TIME! New internet getting installed at the new house, guy arrives, ON TIME! Hell, probably early!
Truck drivers are going bananas for them! Least the ones that are technically sound, this product although out for a few years is still early in its adoption, and frankly it just amazes me. Products like these can definitely help economy cause less money gets spent in peoples commute/deliveries which in turn should free up more funds for companies to deal with, and in turn, create more jobs.
Or, the rich just get richer
